Offshore company sheds 150 jobs

About 150 people have lost their jobs in Aberdeen and Dundee after an offshore services company ceased trading.

Oceanteam Power and Umbilical has been forced to close after the firm's holding company withdrew its financial support.

Staff are based in Aberdeen, at workshops in Dundee, and offshore.

Global Marine has taken over contracts, and up to a 100 jobs are in the pipeline for those paid off.
