Missing man, 61, found after plea

Robert Lawson was reported missing after not turning up for work

A 61-year-old man who failed to arrive at his work in Aberdeen, sparking a police appeal, has been safely found.

Robert Lawson had been reported missing from his home in Hilton Drive.

Grampian Police had said it was believed Mr Lawson left his home to catch a bus to his work in Altens but had not arrived.

A spokesperson said: "Grampian Police are pleased to advise that Robert Lawson has been traced safe and well in Aberdeen."
