Theft of wreaths causes distress

The theft of several wreaths from a Moray cemetery has been condemned by police.

The wreaths were taken from Hillhead Cemetery in Portknockie over the festive period.

A police spokesperson said: "The theft causes distress to the victims, who were paying their respects to loved ones over Christmas."
