One dead in three-vehicle crash

One person is killed and two others are injured in a three-vehicle crash in Aberdeenshire.

The accident happened on the A96 two miles south of Huntly on Tuesday evening.

No details are known of the person who died. The two casualties have been taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, one with chest injuries.

Grampian Police had to close the road in both directions for accident investigations to take place.
