Girl, 11, robbed of mobile phone

Two teenage girls who robbed an 11-year-old girl of her mobile phone in Aberdeen are being hunted by police.

The two culprits struck in Plane Tree Road in the city's Cornhill area on Wednesday afternoon.

Grampian Police said the young victim was "unhurt but shaken" by the attack, during which her pink phone was stolen.

The attackers were described as being in their late teens, and about 5ft 6in tall. One had dark shoulder-length hair and the other was blonde.

One was wearing a black vest top, the other was wearing a distinctive pink and white jacket.
