Two charged over Aberdeen death

Alexander Flett died in hospital after being injured in Aberdeen

Two people have been charged over the death of a 51-year-old man in Aberdeen in the early hours of Monday.

Alexander Flett was seriously injured during an incident at an address in Stornoway Crescent, in the Sheddocksley area of the city, just after midnight.

Mr Flett, a forklift truck driver, died shortly after being taken to hospital.

Police said one person had been charged with murder and another with assault. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal at Aberdeen.
