'Racist attack' probed by police

A "racially-motivated" attack on an Asian man in Aberdeen is being investigated by police.

The 28-year-old victim was assaulted by four men next to the harbour area on Market Street.

Three of the attackers were described as in their early 20s, and were wearing black jackets. The other suspect was wearing a white jacket.

Grampian Police said the victim escaped serious injury at about midnight on Saturday 25 October.
