Hundreds of Stagecoach staff are being balloted on action

A ballot for industrial action of almost 500 bus drivers and other staff at Stagecoach is set to close.

Workers, also including mechanics and cleaners, through Aberdeen, Moray and Aberdeenshire, have been voting for a strike or action short of a walk out.

The ballot has been called by the T&G Unite union over a claim for improved pay and conditions.

Stagecoach operates a range of bus services, and is a major provider of school transport.
