Drugs recovered in Shetland raids

Drugs including heroin, cocaine and cannabis worth thousands of pounds have been seized in raids in Shetland.

A 34-year-old man was detained at Holmsgarth ferry terminal leaving the ferry from Aberdeen in connection with suspected heroin.

A 32-year-old man was also arrested after an operation in the Ladies Drive area of Lerwick where heroin, cocaine and cannabis was recovered.

Reports are being sent to the procurator fiscal.
