Cigarettes worth thousands taken

Cigarettes worth more than £10,000 have been stolen from an Aberdeen business, sparking a police appeal for information.

The theft happened at commercial premises at Hareness Circle.

Grampian Police said cigarettes with an estimated value in the region of a five-figure sum were stolen.

Officers appealed for anyone with any information or who may have been offered large quantities of cigarettes to contact them.
