Funeral for bus tragedy girl held

The funeral of a teenager who died after being hit by a car moments after she got off a school bus in Aberdeenshire is to be held.

Robyn Oldham, 15, was hit by a Mercedes on the A947 at Birkenhills, south of Turriff, on Thursday.

The Turriff Academy pupil and her family had recently moved to the area from England.

The funeral is at St Andrew's Church in Turriff. There will be a collection for the air ambulance service.

Counselling has been offered to pupils who were on the bus at the time, and classmates.
