'Strong interest' in laundry firm

A leading laundry and dry cleaning business has attracted "strong interest" from potential buyers after going into administration.

Aberdeen-based Scotia Linen Services currently employs 91 staff at 15 sites across the country.

Joint administrator Iain Fraser said almost 30 sales packs had been sent to interested parties, and site visits were being arranged.

Mr Fraser, of Tenon Recovery, said he hoped a buyer could be found quickly.

"Business is going well and we are now focusing on finding a buyer for the company as quickly as possible," he said.

"I would like to thank customers, suppliers and staff for the support they have given during a difficult period, which has allowed us to quickly stabilise the company and focus on the sales process."
