City drugs stash seized in raid

Three people have been arrested after drugs worth thousands of pounds were recovered in Aberdeen.

Heroin and crack cocaine, along with a four-figure sum of money, was seized after the operation on Friday afternoon in the Torry area.

A local man aged 37, a 23-year-old woman from Edinburgh and a 20-year-old man from Wolverhampton were detained.

Grampian Police said the three people were expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
