Family and friends hope the poster will help the appeal
A poster campaign has been launched in a bid to find a man who went missing after visiting his baby daughter at an Aberdeen hospital.
Stuart Campbell, 32, of Portgordon, was last seen at the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital on Tuesday morning.
A separate investigation into injuries sustained by his baby daughter has also been launched by Grampian Police detectives.
Friends of Mr Campbell have begun a poster campaign in the local area.
They have said his disappearance is out of character.
There have been no confirmed sightings of him since Tuesday, and those who know Mr Campbell have become increasingly concerned for his safety and welfare.
Friend, Stuart Leon, said: "I have known Stuart for 17 years and this is totally out of character for him. He is a great mate and we are all very worried about him. He is a kind and generous friend.
"We are going to be distributing these posters today in the hope they will help find him.
A friend of Stuart Campbell appeals for information
"The picture of Stuart on the poster is a really good likeness of him and I appeal to anyone who has seen him since Tuesday to contact the police and let them know when and where they saw him."
He added: "Alternatively, Stuart just call one of us and let us know you are alright. We just want to know you are safe and well.
"If you want some space at the moment that is OK but just contact one of us."
Det Insp Stewart Kidd said: "It is a measure of the regard in which Stuart is held by his friends that they are keen to do this and help us find him.
"We are continuing our searches today and over the weekend.
"But so far we have had no confirmed sighting of him since he left the hospital on Tuesday morning."
He is described as being 5ft 8in tall, with mousy hair and tattooed arms.
