Dog saved from conservatory roof

A pet dog had to be rescued by firefighters from a conservatory roof in Aberdeen.

The beagle got stuck in Hilton Street on Friday morning.

A Grampian Fire and Rescue Service crew armed with a ladder and salvage sheet came to the rescue and was able to get the dog to safety.

A spokesperson said they were alerted at about 1010 BST and that the situation was resolved within 15 minutes.
