The school said it had a strict policy on drugs

Twelve pupils at Gordonstoun in Moray, the Prince of Wales' former school, have been disciplined after a drugs crackdown.

Eleven have been suspended and one expelled, over cannabis allegations.

Headmaster Mark Pyper said pupils and parents were aware of Gordonstoun's strict policy in relation to drugs.

The school, near Elgin, is famous for its Royal connections. Prince Charles, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward are among its former pupils.
