Tractor crash victim, 36, named

A man killed after his car was involved in a crash with a tractor in Banffshire has been named.

Ford Fiesta driver Kenneth Cowe, 36, from Gardenstown, died after the accident on the B9031 near Gamrie shortly before 1500 BST on Monday.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were all called to the scene of the accident.

The driver of the tractor, a 69-year-old man, also from the local area, was left shocked but uninjured.
