Bridge lorry causes travel delays

A lorry which became stuck under an Aberdeenshire bridge, causing travel delays, has been freed.

The incident happened under the low one-lane Inveramsay Bridge on the A96 at about 0830 BST.

Grampian Police said road diversions had been set up in both directions while the situation was assessed at the scene.

Network Rail was also alerted, however the road later re-opened at about 0930 BST when the scene was cleared.
