Pensioner named after fire death

Grampian firefighters found the woman's body in the house

Police have named a woman who died following a house fire in a Moray town.

Jane Martin, who was 84, was found by firefighters after they entered the smoke-filled house.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Queen Street in Lossiemouth at about 0800 BST after the alarm was raised by a friend.

Grampian Police said it was not thought there were any suspicious circumstances. An inquiry is under way.
