Five detained over drugs recovery

Five people have been arrested following a drugs raid in the Rosemount area of Aberdeen.

Crack cocaine with a street value of several thousand pounds, plus a four-figure sum of money, was recovered in Northfield Place.

Two women from Aberdeen, aged 24 and 28, and three men from Birmingham, aged 18, 24 and 28, were detained.

Grampian Police said they were expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday.
