A grandmother is being treated in hospital following a car crash in Moray which killed her eight-year-old grandson and her 72-year-old aunt.
Police said a teenage driver also died in Sunday's head-on crash on the A98 near the Findochty junction.
Calvin Smith and his great aunt Kathleen Reid, from Buckie, were travelling in a Fiesta driven by his 55-year-old grandmother Linda Smith.
Scott Nicol, 19, from Cullen, who was driving the other car also died.
He had been driving a Ford Puma.
Mrs Smith was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
Police appealed for witnesses to the crash to come forward

Grampian Police said an investigation in to the accident was under way and that recent wintry weather was not thought to be a factor.
Inspector Mike McDonald appealed for witnesses to the accident to come forward.
He said: "I am aware that we identified several witnesses at the time and we have spoken to them but I am anxious to speak to anyone else who witnessed the collision or who saw either the Fiesta or the Puma on the A98 prior to the collision."
The accident followed a two-car smash near Turriff in Aberdeenshire which left a 23-year-old driver dead and a woman and two children injured.
