A police and fire investigation has been launched after the death
Police are probing the death of a man - believed to be in his 30s - found after a fire at a caravan in Aberdeenshire.

The man's body was found at Benview Caravan Park, Kemnay, at about 1100 GMT on Sunday by a member of the public.

Det Sgt Neil Cameron said it was not known how the fire started and added that Grampian Police were treating the death as "unexplained".

The man, not yet officially named, is thought to be from the Czech Republic and to have worked locally.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out and a report sent to the procurator fiscal.
