Man arrested after shop robbery

The man was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court
A 25-year-old man is expected to appear in court after a robbery at an Aberdeen shop.

A lone female worker was unhurt but shaken after the attack in a branch of RS McColl in Abbotswell Crescent, Kincorth, early on Thursday afternoon.

Grampian Police said that a man from Aberdeen had been arrested in connection with the robbery.

A police spokesman said he was expected to appear from custody at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
