Teen cadet death report submitted
Kaylee McIntosh
Kaylee McIntosh had been on a training exercise
A report into a boating accident which claimed the life of a teenage Army cadet has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Kaylee McIntosh, 14, from Fyvie in Aberdeenshire, died during an exercise in South Uist last August.

It later emerged there may have been a delay of 90 minutes between the boat capsizing and the teenager being reported missing.

It is expected her death will be the subject of a fatal accident inquiry.

Kaylee was a member of the 2nd Battalion Highlanders Army Cadet Force.

She was among a group of eight cadets and four adults on the boat.

Her death was described as a "terrible and tragic incident" by Defence Secretary Des Browne.
