Grampian Police appealed for witnesses to contact them
A robbery at a shop in Aberdeen is being investigated by police.

A three-figure sum of money was taken at RS McColl in Provost Watt Drive, Kincorth, at about 1800 GMT on Thursday. No-one was injured.

Grampian Police said they were keen to trace a man seen in the vicinity at the time.

He is described as being in his early 40s, 5ft 2in tall, slim, wearing a black, hooded jacket with white along the sleeves and a dark green scarf.

Officers are appealing for witnesses, and hope to speak to a young man with a motor scooter who apparently gave chase.
