Woman dies after north east crash
A woman driver has died after a serious road accident on the Fraserburgh to Banff road in Aberdeenshire.

A spokesman for Grampian Police said two vehicles were involved in the crash on the A98 on Friday.

The male driver and female passenger of the other vehicle have been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. Their condition is not known.

The road was closed and traffic was diverted for a while to allow an accident investigation to take place.
