A teenager has died from his injuries after a one vehicle crash on Shetland in the early hours of the morning.
Ian Sandison, 18, had been taken to Gilbert Bain Hospital after the accident, which happened on South Road at about 0130 GMT.
Northern Constabulary officers are due to arrive in Lerwick on Monday morning to carry out a crash investigation.
South Road will be closed until the further notice between the South Road roundabout and Kantersted Road.
Drivers were asked to follow diversions and told to expect delays on Monday morning.
