Police tackle spate of graffiti
Graffiti in Aberdeen
A spate of graffiti has appeared in Aberdeen in recent months
Police have appealed for information in a bid to rid Aberdeen of graffiti which is costing the city tens of thousands of pounds to clean up.

Grampian Police said numerous instances of the "tagging" vandalism had been reported over the past two months.

The force is launching a new campaign urging the public to report anyone they think is guilty of spraying graffiti.

A police spokesman said the graffiti was "a highly unusual and unpleasant phenomenon".
