Seven cases of E.coli have been confirmed
A seventh case of E.coli O157 linked to an Aberdeen hotel has been confirmed by health officials.

The further person, a female, was revealed following test results returned to the NHS Grampian Outbreak Control Team.

They had all eaten at the four-star Atholl Hotel.

Three women in hospital, all over 65, remain in a satisfactory condition and none of the seven were giving any cause for immediate concern.

The investigation into the source is continuing.
