Atholl Hotel, Aberdeen
Six cases of E.coli have been confirmed
Six people who ate at an Aberdeen hotel have now been confirmed as having E.coli 0157.

Three women, all over 65, are in hospital in a satisfactory condition and improving. Three other people are recovering at home.

They had all eaten at the four-star Atholl Hotel.

NHS Grampian said no other cases were being investigated. The search for the source is being widened from cold, cooked meats.

Doctor Diana Webster from NHS Grampian said GPs have been warned to be on the look-out for symptoms.

The results of further tests are expected later in the week.
