Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward
A 37-year-old Asian man was the victim of what police have described as a "racist attack" in Aberdeen.

The assault happened close to the DFS store in Kittybrewster car park, near Bedford Road.

The attacker was described as male, about 36, of medium build with short brown hair. He was believed to have been driving a green Alfa Romeo Spider.

Grampian Police appealed for witnesses to Saturday's attack, which happened in a busy area at about 1140 BST.

The victim was not injured but was left badly shaken.
