Police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward
Three youths have been charged after a fire engine was damaged in Aberdeen as firefighters tackled a blaze.

A 17-year-old male has been charged with damaging the appliance, which had been sent to respond to a wheelie bin fire in Garthdee Drive on Sunday.

Boys aged 16 and 14 have also been charged with starting the fire.

Grampian Police said reports had been sent to the procurator fiscal and the children's reporter, but are still appealing for more information.

Grampian Fire and Rescue Service said people involved in such incidents should realise the possible seriousness of their actions.
