Aberdeen's footballers have been tackled by a younger media pack as part of a BBC initiative.
Pupils from Bridge of Don Academy had signed up for the BBC News School Report Day.
They turned the spotlight on the players during a press conference with established reporters on Tuesday.
The BBC News School Report website will feature the stories on 22 March. There will also be coverage on television, radio and Aberdeen FC's Red TV.
The pupils have opted to produce a 15 minute radio programme.
Fiona Stalker, editor of radio bulletins for the North East and Northern Isles, has been mentoring the pupils.
'Very impressed'
She said: "We started off with a programme ideas exercise which was great.
"They sparked off each very well and have come up with a mix of national, local and school issues they will cover.
"The pupils have really thrown themselves into the project."
Aberdeen captain Russell Anderson said after being interviewed: "I was very impressed with the standard of the questions."
Red TV, which will also feature the work, is the club's internet TV channel.
The young broadcasters have also lined up interviews with Aberdeen's Lord Provost John Reynolds and Aberdeen South MP Anne Begg.
They will also feature Estrella, a band who recently made it to the final of the prestigious Global Battle of the Bands in London.
