Missing pensioner is found safe

Police said the pensioner often went walking in the area

A pensioner who was reported missing from her home in Kincorth, Aberdeen, has been found safe.

Marjorie Wood, 76, had last been seen at her home in Gardiner Drive at about 1045 GMT on Saturday.

She was described as being 5ft 3in tall, of slim build, and had been wearing a lilac anorak, black hat, green cord trousers and black shoes.

A spokesman for Grampian Police said that the 76-year-old returned home herself later.
