Man hurt and dogs killed in crash
A man walking his dogs has been seriously injured after he was hit by a car on an Aberdeenshire road.

The 43-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after the accident on an unclassified road near Insch at about 1820 GMT on Thursday.

Both dogs were killed in the accident on the Leslie to Kennethmont road, while the 39-year-old driver of the Ford Mondeo involved was uninjured.

Grampian Police appealed for anyone who saw the Mondeo to contact them.
