An assault is alleged to have happened at a Huntly house
A 44-year-old man has appeared in court in Aberdeen charged with the abduction and attempted rape of a teenage schoolgirl.

James Murison, 44, of Bogie Street, Huntly, is alleged to have assaulted the teenage girl, who is under 16, at his home on Wednesday.

He made no plea or declaration in private before Sheriff Alexander Jessop at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday.

He was remanded and the case was continued for further examination.
