A man has been charged with murder after the death of a baby who was found unconscious in a house in Lossiemouth.
Gareth Harries, 23, was remanded in custody after his appearance at Elgin Sheriff Court on Thursday in connection with the incident.
The baby girl, who has not been named, died at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
It has been confirmed that the youngster was found lying unconscious at a house in Lossiemouth's MacDonald Drive last Friday.
