Fatal road crash in Aberdeenshire
One person has died in a road crash in Aberdeenshire.

The accident, involving just one vehicle, happened on the B999 Tarves to Methlick road at about 1530 GMT on Sunday.

No one else was injured and the road remained closed for investigations to take place.

In total, six people died in road accidents on Sunday including three fatalities in a six-vehicle pile-up on the A75 in Dumfries and Galloway.
