An event highlighting the cream of Shetland's food and drink producers is getting under way on Thursday.
Local lamb will be among the produce showcased in Lerwick
The four-day Flavour of Shetland is being held in Lerwick in a bid to spread the word of what gastronomic delights the islands can offer.
Foods including lamb, seafood and sweeter treats will all be featured.
Chefs will provide demonstrations on Friday and Saturday in a bid to inspire islanders and visitors to make the most of local produce.
Event organiser Nicola Halcrow said: "This year's food and drink producers have really excelled, coming together to provide the very finest flavour of Shetland in one place, and enough to cater for every taste and palate.
"It's only really on occasions like these when you bring together all of our fine food producers that we can really appreciate what an amazing selection of produce we now have available in the islands.
"I hope Flavour of Shetland brings home what a wealth of delicious food and drink is grown, caught and handmade here and we are able to spread the word further afield so Shetland receives the culinary recognition it deserves worldwide."
