A live BBC broadcast showcasing Shetland's wildlife has increased interest from potential visitors.
The Springwatch programme on BBC2 saw the team based in Shetland as part of a three-week live show highlighting scenery and birds.
Among the places they visited was the RSPB's Sumburgh Head reserve to look at seabirds such as puffins.
VisitShetland has now reported a 15% increase in inquiries from potential visitors as a result.
One viewer's email said: "I was completely mesmerised by its [Shetland's] beauty and spectacular wildlife.

This exposure is an excellent way to showcase what we have on offer in Shetland

"It just goes to show that there is more to Britain than just the mainland. I will be spending my holidays there."
Andy Steven, area director for VisitShetland, said: "Since the Springwatch programme has been on air we have seen a significant increase in the number of queries we are receiving from potential visitors.
"This exposure is an excellent way to showcase what we have on offer in Shetland particularly to people from the south of England."
The increased interest from wildlife spotters wanting to travel to Shetland coincides with the launch of a new twice weekly flight between London Stansted and Sumburgh.
Mr Steven said: "By making our islands and famous hospitality easily accessible from London, a weekend break to Britain's most northerly islands is now a reality."
