DJ Fatboy Slim has been confirmed as a headline act at this summer's RockNess music festival near Inverness.

The musician appeared at the first festival five years ago.

He will join headliners The Strokes and Leftfield at the event on 11, 12, and 13 June at Dores, close to the banks of Loch Ness.

Festival director Jim King said: "We're delighted with the RockNess line up this year - the best we've had to date."

He said Fatboy Slim was returning to his "spiritual home".

The event attracted more than 35,000 music fans last year.

Headliners last summer included the Prodigy, Dizzy Rascal, Biffy Clyro and US band Flaming Lips.

One couple got married in an inflatable church on the site.
