Funerals held for mother and sons killed in accident

Funerals for a mother and her two sons who were killed in a crash in the Highlands have been held.

Michelle Owen, 36, and her sons Callum, 13, and Ethan, 11, were from Scone, Perthshire. The service was held at Scone Old Parish Church.

They died after a collision involving three vehicles on the A95 near Aviemore on Saturday morning.

They had been on their way to deliver Christmas presents to a relative in the Highlands.

Mrs Owen's husband, Ian, 46, who was not travelling with his family at the time, is originally from Mochdre, Conwy.

The two boys were members of Scone Boys' Brigade.

The crash involved two cars and a 4x4 vehicle.
