Tweed firm secures hotel contract

A new five-star hotel in Glasgow is to use Harris Tweed in its interior design.

Harris Tweed Hebrides secured what was thought to be a deal worth six figures with Townhouse Collection, the owners of Blytheswood Square.

The Harris Tweed company's mill at Shawbost on Lewis will supply about 9,000 sq metres of fabric for use throughout the building.

Blytheswood Square was formerly known as the Royal Scottish Automobile Club.
