Festival to recycle leftover food

The leftover food of music fans is to be collected and turned into compost at next month's Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival near Inverness.

Organisers plan to recycle as much as five tonnes of the waste that would normally have ended up in a landfill site.

Rock band Editors will headline the event.

Belladrum, being staged on 7 and 8 August, won the Grass Roots award at last year's UK Festival Awards.
