Body found in overturned tractor

A man's body has been found in a tractor which had overturned in a burn in Sutherland.

The man, aged 65, was discovered collapsed in the cab of the vehicle by a member of the public at about 1235 BST on Thursday.

The burn where the accident happened was on a croft about three miles north of Dornoch at Balvraid.

Northern Constabulary said emergency services confirmed the man had died at the scene.

There did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.

The man's identity has not yet been released but his next of kin have been informed.
