An artist and volunteer firefighter is displaying her art works at her local fire station.

Vicky Stonebridge has painted scenes inspired by her role in the service and also the north west Highland landscape.

Her local station at Lochcarron will display the works until 7 June as part of the Highlands Open Studios project.

Ms Stonebridge said: "People can come along and watch me work, as well as having a chance to take a look around a working fire station."

During the summer, the artist will be holding workshops in how to draw Japanese Manga and comics at Highlands schools and libraries.
