Man and woman die in bike crash

Two people riding on a motorbike have died in a crash involving a car in the Highlands.

Mark Greenup, 39, and Rosemary Slack, 35, both from the Keith area of Moray, died at the scene.

The crash happened at about 1300 BST on Sunday on the A939 between Grantown-on-Spey and Tomintoul, about one mile west of the Nethy Bridge junction.

The road was closed for several hours while wreckage was cleared and investigators examined the scene.
