An air, land and sea search for a missing woman in the Highlands has been followed up by a scaled down operation.

Northern Constabulary were alerted to the 44-year-old's disappearance from her home in Thurso at about 1040 GMT.

The search for the woman was focussing on coastline at Holborn Head near Scrabster.
