Officers trace missing city man

A man who sparked police concerns about his wellbeing when he went missing has been found safe and well.

Stephen Matheson was reported missing on 4 January, but left his home in South Kessock, Inverness, on 17 December.

Northern Constabulary officers later found his car in North Kessock across the Kessock Bridge in the Black Isle.

The force said the 35-year-old was found safe and well in the Inverness area.
