Two hurt as car crashes at bridge

Two people were hurt after their car overturned on the Black Isle side of the Kessock Bridge in the Highlands.

Northern Constabulary said the pair were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment to minor injuries.

The northbound section of the A9 at the bridge was closed while emergency services attended the scene and police investigated the cause.

The accident happened at about 0520 GMT.
